Patient Description

A 52-year-old female presents with chronic fatigue, muscle pain, and recent weight gain. The fatigue has been persistent for a year, is severe, and affects her energy levels throughout the day. Muscle pain has been a long-standing issue, particularly knots and stiffness in the back, rated as severe. The patient has a history of high blood pressure, Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism, chronic venous insufficiency, and May Thurner’s disease, all diagnosed within the last decade. Notable lab findings include high levels of B12, high leptin, and low cortisol. Short-term memory issues have been reported, alongside joint pain. Adverse reactions have occurred with Estrogen replacement and Diclofenac, the former causing sinus infections and the latter leading to kidney failure. Current medications include Liothyronine, Tirosint, Losartan, Propranolol, and Cyclobenzaprine. There are no known allergies, and no other medications or health concerns have been reported.
