In the know and not alone
MDandMe wants every person to be able to make sense of their health, and feel like they have a doctor best friend whom they can turn to for guidance, comfort, and support. Since our launch in January 2024, we have helped over 40,000 people, primarily in rural and underserved communities.
Introducing MDandMe
Patients are ready for AI but stop thinking about it as competition to doctors. Busting 3 common myths about the world's first conversational AI symptom checker. Myth 1: "Patients will drop off right away" Myth 2: "Patients won't know how to describe their symptoms and AI won't understand" Myth 3: "Patients just want to talk to a real doctor"
Can AI help close the medical care gap?
The internet revolutionized the accessibility of nearly every industry and empowered the consumer with convenience, knowledge, and choice. Why not healthcare? We believe generative AI is the missing foundational technology that will work hand in hand with human clinicians to serve all in need.
Pre-Seed Funding
Ilya Valmianski pioneered Kaiser Permanente Southern California's AI-based patient intake system used by millions of patients and later built the world's first LLM-based patient intake chatbot (prior to the release of ChatGPT). In 2023, he met his co-founder William, who was building a similar product at Harvard Medical School. Together, they raised $2M in pre-seed funding from The Steele Foundation for Hope.
