What might be happening

Based on the information you've provided, the following conditions could be contributing to your symptoms:

  • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS): This condition is characterized by extreme fatigue that can't be explained by any underlying medical condition. The fatigue worsens with physical or mental activity, but doesn't improve with rest. This could explain your extreme fatigue and difficulty staying awake.

  • Eczema: This is a condition that makes your skin red and itchy. It's common in children but can occur at any age. Eczema is long lasting (chronic) and tends to flare periodically. It may be accompanied by asthma or hay fever.

  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS): This is a common disorder that affects the large intestine. Signs and symptoms include cramping, abdominal pain, bloating, gas, diarrhea or constipation, or both. IBS is a chronic condition that you'll need to manage long term.

  • Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS): This is a hormonal disorder common among women of reproductive age. Women with PCOS may have infrequent or prolonged menstrual periods or excess male hormone (androgen) levels. The ovaries may develop numerous small collections of fluid (follicles) and fail to regularly release eggs.

  • Allergic Rhinitis: This is a diagnosis associated with a group of symptoms affecting the nose. These symptoms occur when you breathe in something you are allergic to, such as dust, animal dander, or pollen.

  • Possible Autoimmune Disease: Your joint pain, limb weakness, and stiffness, along with your other symptoms, could suggest an autoimmune disease such as lupus or rheumatoid arthritis. Autoimmune diseases can affect many parts of the body and can cause a wide range of symptoms.

What you can do

  1. Consult a healthcare professional: It's important to discuss these symptoms with a healthcare provider who can provide a formal diagnosis and appropriate treatment options.

  2. Lifestyle modifications: Regular exercise, a healthy diet, and adequate sleep may help manage symptoms of fatigue, IBS, and PCOS.

  3. Medication review: Review your current medications with your healthcare provider to ensure they are not contributing to your symptoms.

  4. Allergy management: Continue to manage your allergies as directed by your healthcare provider.

What you should look out for

Seek immediate medical attention if you experience:

  • Severe chest pain or pressure
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Sudden severe headache
  • Sudden difficulty speaking or understanding speech, sudden weakness or numbness of the face, arm, or leg on one side of your body, sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes, or sudden dizziness or loss of balance or coordination.

Please remember that this advice is intended to be general in nature, and specific causes may not apply to your situation. Always consult with a healthcare provider for appropriate examination, testing, and care.
