Patient Description

A 22-year-old female presents with a variety of symptoms including weight gain, anxiety, muscle pain in the legs, knees, and ankles when standing for short periods, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, and pressure-like chest pain. The muscle pain is described as sharp and aching, rated 6 out of 10 in severity, and has been present for 3 years. It improves with changing positions but is not alleviated by pain medication.
